Case Study 1: Self-Leveling Epoxy
Oil leaks had stained the floor of this municipal garage. We removed the old coating system and prepared the surface with shot-blasting and diamond grinding. We then installed an oil-tolerant epoxy primer over the contaminated concrete.Two coats of 100% solids epoxy were followed with a top coat of urethane impregnated with an aluminum oxide. This treatment provided a non-skid surface in addition to extending the life of the floor. General Polymer products were used.
